简介​
本校联课活动已列入正课。联课活动对每一位学生的身心发展有着重要的影响。目的是让学生可以透过联课活动学习与实践课堂以外的知识。联课活动提供了一个平台让学生发挥其内在的潜能,同时也让学生学习时间管理、自我管理、领导能力、合作精神、爱与关怀等等。 在此,联课活动处扮演着重要的角色。联课活动处除了处理平日校务以外,同时也督导学生在联课活动的发展。为了让联课活动处业务得以顺利进行,因此本处需要不断的策划、修订、研究及探索等方式制定一套符合现时的需求。在各学会及团体,联课活动处也委任或延聘顾问老师及校外指导老师协助督导及提升联课活动的发展。

联课活动处期许,学生可以踊跃参与联课活动,并发掘其内在潜能。此外,将所学习到的技能学以致用。
职责
  1. 拟定联课活动处年度工作计划及行事历,并领导完成有关工作。
  2. 拟订联课活动处年度财政预算案,管理各学会团体之进支款项及检讨账目。
  3. 督促、监督与协调联课组及活动组之工作。
  4. 各学会团体顾问老师及校外指导老师之推荐、安排(提呈校长同意后由校长委任或延聘)
  5. 成立或解散学会团体(提呈校长同意后方可成立或解散)。
  6. 策划、举办研习、培训活动,以提升学生们推展学会团体活动的能力,加强活动的品质。
  7. 联课活动时进行巡视,并了解学会团体之进行情况及活动场地的整洁(定期抽样学会团体、突击检查,确保学生是否逃课)。
  8. 督导所有学会团体之活动推展。
  9. 推动及指导校内活动。
  10. 鼓励学生参加校外比赛、训练、研习、观摩等活动,并委派老师带领学生参加有关活动。
  11. 处理各学会团体申请旅行、联欢会、集训、举办演出、比赛等事宜。
  12. 处理学生联课活动出缺席、入会、第二学会团体、转换、退学会或团体事宜。
  13. 审查学会团体之任何出版物、印制品及制服。
  14. 定期与有关学会团体领导层召开会议。
  15. 定期召开联课活动处内部会议(检讨、改善及讨论一切有关联课活动等事宜)。
  16. 管理及定期检查各学会团体储藏室。
  17. 进行内部每日工作前跟进、督促、监督及协调之简报。
  18. 拟定学会团体活动地点(常年活动地点及临时活动地点)。
  19. 处理其他有关联课活动之事项。
  20. 处理校方分配及安排之其他相关任务。

  1. 透过组织及发展不同类型的活动,以促进学习成效,发展他们多元智能及扩阔其生活经历。
  2. 鼓励学生积极参与校內、外活动及比賽,並聘请专业导师,进一步发挥潛能。学会求知、学会做事、学会共处、学会做人。 
Introduction

Co-curricular activities in Poi Lam High School are part of the school regular teaching syllabus whereby they are as important as subjects being taught in class.
Co-curricular activities pose a profound influence to the physical and mental development of every student in school. Attending co-curricular activities enable students to learn more knowledge out of the classroom and to practice the knowledge gained. Co-curricular activities provide a platform for students to develop their potential and also allow students to learn time management, self-management, leadership skills, teamwork, loving and caring and so on.

Other than handling school affair, E.C.A department plays an important role in supervising and monitoring the progress of the development of students in co-curricular activities. In order to ensure all the operations of E.C.A department are always smooth and hassle free, our department constantly plans, revises, examines and explores other ways to develop a complete line to suit the current needs. For every club and society, E.C.A department will appoint teacher advisors and/or hire instructors to supervise students as well as to enhance the development of co-curricular activities.

E.C.A department highly expect all students to actively take part in co-curricular activities in order to discover their potential. In addition, we hope that students able to apply the skills and knowledge gained in co-curricular activities in the future.

Job Scope
  1. To plan the year plan of the E.C.A. Department, events’ calendar and to lead in order to complete the works.
  2. To establish the department financial budget, to manage the income & expense of clubs and societies and to review records of all accounts.
  3. To monitor, supervise and coordinate the work of co-curricular activities and School activities.
  4. Be responsible for recommending and arranging of teacher advisor and instructor for every clubs and societies. (After the principal approve, instructor appointment or hiring will be done by principal).
  5. Be responsible for the establishment or dissolution of club and society (This can only be initiated upon principal’s agreement is gained).
  6. To plan, organize learning and training activities in order to enhance students’ ability to promote co-curricular activities and to enhance the quality of activities.
  7. To conduct E.C.A. period patrols, understand the situation of clubs and societies activities and ensure the cleanliness of activities’ venues (Check the clubs and societies regularly to identify any students who play truant).
  8. To supervise promotion and development of overall activities for all clubs and societies.
  9. To promote and guide school activities.
  10. To encourage students to participate in external activities such as competitions, training, learning, observation and other activities and to appoint teachers to lead students to participate in related activities.
  11. To handle clubs or societies activities such as travelling, organizing party, training, organizing performances, competitions and other matters.
  12. To handle student E.C.A. attendance, new recruitment, join second club or society, transferring and leaving club and society.
  13. To review clubs and societies publication, printouts and uniforms.
  14. To regularly have meeting with clubs and societies presidents.
  15. To regularly have internal meetings (To review, improve and discuss all matters related to E.C.A.).
  16. To manage and regularly check the storerooms of each club and society.
  17. To give briefings on daily tasks follow-up, supervision, monitoring and coordination.
  18. To develop clubs and societies activities location (Permanent and temporary venue).
  19. To deal with other matter related to E.C.A.
  20. To handle other related tasks arranged and distributed by the school.
