培南独中舞蹈团13位同学于8月3日前往拉曼大学学院槟城分校，参与“2025年马来西亚国际华族舞蹈公开赛”，在少年（中学组）群舞项目中荣获银奖佳绩。
本次参赛作品为“渔歌”，同学们以细腻的肢体表现与默契的团队配合，生动诠释了渔民的生活情景与情感流动，将中华传统文化的韵味通过舞蹈娓娓道来，赢得了评委与观众的一致好评。
本校舞蹈团一直致力于推广华族舞蹈艺术，成员们刻苦排练，精进技巧，只为在舞台上呈现最动人的演出。这次的奖项不仅是对他们努力的肯定，也为学校争光。

On August 3rd, 13 students from Poi Lam High School’s Dance Troupe participated in the 2025 International Chinese Dance Championship (ICDC) held at TAR UMT Penang Campus, and proudly clinched the Silver Award in the Youth Category (Secondary School).
Their performance, titled as “Yu Ge”, captivated the audience with graceful movements and harmonious coordination, vividly portraying the daily life and emotional rhythms of fishermen. Through dance, they beautifully conveyed the essence and charm of traditional Chinese culture, earning praise from both judges and spectators.
Poi Lam’s Dance Troupe has long been committed to promoting the art of Chinese dance. The members dedicated themselves to intensive practice and continuous improvement, all in pursuit of delivering the most captivating performance on stage. This award stands as a testament to their hard work and brings great honor to the school.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to coach Ms. Toh Sook Khum and assistant coach Mr. Chung Meng Kent for their tireless guidance. Their dedication has helped the students grow gradually, culminating this shining moment on stage.
