8月3日，培南独中二十四节令鼓队25位同学前往育才国民型中学，参与“2025年第二届YB吴家良杯全霹雳中小学廿四节令鼓邀请赛”，并在中学组中荣获佳作奖！ 本次参赛作品以黄色的土地．长江为主题，同学们以铿锵有力的鼓声、整齐划一的阵形以及饱满的精神面貌，呈现了一场融合自然与人文意蕴的震撼演出，展现出节令鼓的震撼力与文化深度。 这份成绩的背后，是队员们长期不懈的训练与对鼓艺的热忱投入。他们利用课余时间反复练习，只为在舞台上呈现最完美的节奏与恢弘气势。 我们衷心感谢教练江椲耀老师的悉心指导与不懈付出，是他的专业带领与鼓励，让学生不断突破自我，在鼓声中蜕变，于舞台上发光。 🎉🎉🎖️🎖️🥁🥁 On August 3rd, 25 students from Poi Lam High School’s Chinese 24 Drum Team participated in the Acara Kejohanan Gendang 24 Musim Sekolah Rendah dan Menengah Piala YB Woo Kah Leong Negeri Perak, held at SMJK Yuk Choy, and proudly won the Merit Award in the Secondary School Category! With the theme “Yellow Earth · Yangtze River”, the team delivered a powerful performance that fused the grandeur of nature with rich cultural meaning. Their thunderous drumming, perfectly synchronized formations, and strong team spirit came together to create a stunning display of rhythm and emotion, showcasing the cultural depth and impact of the 24 Festive Drums. Behind this achievement lies the team’s unwavering commitment and deep passion for drum art. 培南独中舞蹈团13位同学于8月3日前往拉曼大学学院槟城分校，参与“2025年马来西亚国际华族舞蹈公开赛”，在少年（中学组）群舞项目中荣获银奖佳绩。 本次参赛作品为“渔歌”，同学们以细腻的肢体表现与默契的团队配合，生动诠释了渔民的生活情景与情感流动，将中华传统文化的韵味通过舞蹈娓娓道来，赢得了评委与观众的一致好评。 本校舞蹈团一直致力于推广华族舞蹈艺术，成员们刻苦排练，精进技巧，只为在舞台上呈现最动人的演出。这次的奖项不仅是对他们努力的肯定，也为学校争光。 我们衷心感谢教练杜淑琴老师与助教郑明建老师的悉心指导，是他们在背后默默付出，带领学生一步步成长，成就了这一段璀璨的舞台旅程。 🎉🎉💃🕺🥈🥈 On August 3rd, 13 students from Poi Lam High School’s Dance Troupe participated in the 2025 International Chinese Dance Championship (ICDC) held at TAR UMT Penang Campus, and proudly clinched the Silver Award in the Youth Category (Secondary School). Their performance, titled as “Yu Ge”, captivated the audience with graceful movements and harmonious coordination, vividly portraying the daily life and emotional rhythms of fishermen. Through dance, they beautifully conveyed the essence and charm of traditional Chinese culture, earning praise from both judges and spectators. Poi Lam’s Dance Troupe has long been committed to promoting the art of Chinese dance. The members dedicated themselves to intensive practice and continuous improvement, all in pursuit of delivering the most captivating performance on stage. This award stands as a testament to their hard work and brings great honor to the school. We express our heartfelt gratitude to coach Ms. Toh Sook Khum and assistant coach Mr. Chung Meng Kent for their tireless guidance.
