7 月 12 日，本校弈棋社团员，来自初二礼班的王峻乐同学代表学校参加由霹雳象棋总会主办、霹州教育局学生体能发展组协办的全国第二场中国象棋发展计划（中学组） 比赛，并荣获第四名的佳绩，为校争光！ 本次赛事在霹雳州教育局 UNIT SUKAN 礼堂隆重举行，汇聚了来自霹雳州 20 所学校的 42 位中小学参赛者。参赛选手们使出浑身解数，上演了一场公平公正的精彩对弈，展现了扎实棋艺与顽强拼搏的精神。 感谢指导老师及弈棋社一路以来的努力，也恭喜王峻乐同学用热爱在棋盘上写下属于自己的辉煌篇章！ ♟️✨♟️✨♟️✨ On July 12, Ong Jun Le, a member of the school’s Chess Club from J2LI, proudly represented Poi Lam High School in the second round of the National Chinese Chess Development Program (Secondary School Category). The event was organized by the Perak Chinese Chess Association and co-organized by the Student Physical Development Unit of the Perak State Education Department. Ong Jun Le achieved an impressive fourth place, bringing honor to the school! The tournament was held at the UNIT SUKAN Hall of the Perak State Department of Education and gathered 42 participants from 20 schools across Perak. All competitors gave their best, delivering fair and exciting matches that showcased both solid chess skills and a spirit of determination.
